    Happy Earth Day

Did you do anything special for Earth Day today?

I got a copy of Rachel Carson's book Silent Spring. I have been wanting to read this book for years, and what better day to start?

I also picked up a book called Recovery of Gray Wolves in the Great Lakes Region of the United States: An Endangered Species Success Story. This is a new book just release a couple weeks ago.

Didn't have time to "do" anything special but then I'm pretty ecologically bent without being radical.
They should make it a weekend so people could actually go out and pick up garbage or plant some trees or something.

I drove to work, and when I got home I realized that I left an incandescent light burning all day...

I'm not a very good role model.

Drove the 100 mile roundtrip to work in the 70mpg diesel smart.
Will kill some weeds this weekend making the garden less green, but less painful.
Why can I only grow brambles and stinging nettles ?
