    Halloween

I'm living in a country, where 10 years ago, most people had never heard of Halloween. Not so anymore! I've just been to Tivoli with my daughters today on a gorgeous warm sunny afternoon. Real Indian Summer stuff! Their season ends Mid-September but for the third year running, they are now open for 10 days for the school mid-term autumn holidays with a Halloween theme and pumpkins EVERYWHERE. Actually, one of my daughters has her birthday on Halloween and she is really cheesed off that Tivoli has Halloween but not on Halloween itself! But she does get to dress up every year though Anyway, I'm guessing that Halloween must be hitting the streets over your way too by now? And I would love to see some photos! Here's a couple of pumpkins from this afternoon, also enjoying the sunshine

Here's another one. The Tivoli Guards in Copenhagen, a miniature version of The Queen's Guard, have swopped their usual bearskin hats (I assume they're fake!) for pumpkins...

Here are some that are in keeping with the season even if not exactly Halloween.

Really lovely seasonal images! Thanks for posting them

Is that a pumpkin field? I've never seen one, so I don't know what they look like!

Here's one of our rather well endowed Hallowen withches

    Re: Halloween

Thanks for enlightening me! I guess we must be importing all those tens of thousands of pumpkins as I've never seen a pumpkin patch in this country.

Sorry for the poor image quality of the witch, it looked fine enough before downsizing?

And here's a slightly sweeter looking witch, almost a Halloween princess...

    Spot the hidden witch

I didn't see this witch with my naked eye, she just appeared on the photo afterwards, like a UFO, which I suppose is what she is in any case!
