    Greetings From Snowy Salt Lake!

    Greetings From Snowy Salt Lake!-dsc0415_1200.jpg

Woke up to snow this morning. It has already snowed here a couple of times this year but it looks like this time it's probably gonna stick

This was taken with the new Nikon 1 AW1 mirrorless camera. It's the first waterproof interchangeable lens digital camera and I'm pretty psyched about it. I'll have a "just-in" article up about it later today...

Lucky! No snow in my part of Ontario yet. Other parts (like Fort Erie) does have a decent amount of snow.

Love this shot. Snow always looks great before January ... (after that, maybe not so much)

It always looks great when it's fresh. It also looks good in the mountains, where it's useful and fun. Luckily it usually dries out pretty quickly here in the valley. We've really got it good here. It stays pretty dry here in the city but we're only half and hour and 4000 feet from the fun snow

It is "fresh" here right now, but doesn't look great...40 mph winds blowing it all down to Wyoming for the last ~20 hours! Wish some of that snow could at least settle out for short break!

Clear skies today. With all the fresh snow it should be perfect conditions for beautiful alpenglow on the Wasatch this evening. There's a good chance I'll venture out for some sunset photos today
