    Greetings

    Hello!

I was out looking for a forum to discuss photography, and I managed to find this place. Since I think I'll enjoy my stay here, I decided to register as a member here.

    A little something about myself.

I'm a 24 year old swedish guy that's had photography as an interest since the age of 11. Since my 11th birthday I got a point and shoot camera from my parents as a present, and since then I've had an interest in photography.

After many years of my interest being dorment, I decided the other day to start all over and get myself a basic digital camera to play around with until I got the hang of things again.

Anyway, since I'm interested to hear what you think of my pictures, here comes a photograph I took this evening.

Due to it's size, I decided it was for the best that I just linked the image, instead of putting up a 800x600 picture attachment.

I'm interested in what you think of it, so don't be shy. Just let your opinions fly

    Welcome

to our site! We're the friendliest folks around, I'll becha!

My opinion of your image: I think it's an interesting image that would benefit from two things: 1.) try adjusting the color somewhat to tone down the "reds" and 2.) try selecting and darkening the center of the image. The outter rim seems perfectly exposed though the center looks overexposed to me.

That's a creative eye you've got! If you're interested in getting more critique, check out the "critique" portion of this site which is reachable through the drop-down menu located on the Viewfinder Forum.

    Welcome again and have fun!

yeah, I noticed now that the red is a bit dominant in the shadow parts of the picture, I'll get to it and change it later on.

I have three full size photos that you might find interesting to comment on...if all goes well, I'll start posting in the critique and art sections.

    here's the link http://w1.392.telia.com/~u39204016/fullsize/

If you go to parent folders, there are more pictures that I've taken since I got the camera (I got it thursday last week).
