    Great weekend, finally

I guess we deserved sunny and 80 all weekend after last weekend's constant rain. Saturday started out by putting more miles on the bike than I (we) intended due to someone's (not me ) wrong turn. From there I headed to another town for a park cleanup project that was right on a river. They had speakers on river-related conservation and had asked a few of us to do a kayaking demonstration. Fun stuff, and all for a good cause.

On the way out of town I ran into a friend (hard to be incognito with a kayak on the roof of the car that's longer than the car...) who suggested we head up to a big lake that is pretty quiet after Labor Day. Couldn't say no to that - summer's not going to be around much longer, but I do plan to be on the water (and on the roads) until ice and snow takes over. By Sunday evening I was ready for the couch.

    Anybody else?

I was on a river too, I went fly fishing this weekend, and took my Holgas along. So you'll have to wait for pics!
I am really liking this fly fishing stuff, I can see some great photographs coming from it, in only a way I can do them!

Steve I always get kick out of your kayak pics. They make me feel that I'm right there with you.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
