I went on a mountain bike ride last night and it was just a beautiful night. It rained the day before which firmed up the sandy spots and tamed the dust. It also flooded some fields I ride by on my way to the trails which provided great reflections of the nice clouds we had. I just took my K-5 and one prime, a 15mm as I wanted to get some good sky shots. I bumped into some friends so then I had models too. I like going out with a single prime like that and being forced to use what I have. Keeps me on my toes and I take shots that I might not get if I had a bigger selection of lenses with me (which could be a minus but I consider it a plus).
Saw this riding to the trails (about a 2 Mi ride) and had to stop for a few photos.

And a nice sunset (alpenglow in this case) for the ride home.

The only bad thing was realizing my rear shock is completely blown. Earlier in the day I pulled the fork off my singlespeed to send in for service so all I have functioning right now is town bikes and a road bike. Hopefully Push will be quick with my SS fork so I can send them this shock next. Until then my dirt riding will be pretty limited!
