    The grandkids go fishing!

I drug my sorry old butt out of bed at 4am to go fishing with two sons and three grandkids.
Well actually I did it to take pictures. None of the grown-ups fished which is always better for the kids.
I would like to share some proud moments.

First is the youngest(7) and of course he caught the biggest fish but didn't want to touch it.
Second is the 9 year old and she didn't want to touch hers either. Second biggest fish.
Third,(12), wasn't real proud of her catch but it added some nice salad basics for a later meal.

It is nice to see the life jackets on the little ones. I am a member of the Licking County Dive Rescue Team, safety is lost alot of times it's the last thing people think about.

    How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?

I agree - great looking pictures and grandkids. Not sure about the 4am either. Thanks for sharing.

Great family fun. Nothing like it. Well worth crawling out of bed to be with the kids and grandkids on an outing like this. Great job grandpa!! You got some pics the kids and grands kids are really going to enjoy and love sharing with others.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Re: The grandkids go fishing!

    Thankyou, mdmc, Tyson, Jimmy, OT!
They complained a bit about the life jackets but not much and had to wear them on the dock.
Jimmy, this was at Clear Lake in Pierce County just south of Kapowsin. A small resort which doesn't allow alcohol which seems to be key to peace and quiet.
They aren't 'great' photographs except that they will be a record of memories that will last my lifetime and hopefully theirs too.

I have heard of it but have never been there. Sounds like a nice quiet place.

Its definilty in the sticks, Jimmy. Actually a small resort with camping and a few cabins but they don't allow alcohol which makes a HUGE difference.
