Leopard geckos are great once they are accustomed to people holding them. And believe me, alot of them sell in the $20-100 range and are just as fun to own.

This is one of our cats, she loves laying on the bed in our bedroom looking out the open window. I love the way the light falls.

Well she's not our pet yet.
But we went out again today in the 2-3 visiting hours at the animal rescue and Tess seemed to remember us.
She mreowed when Angie called her, and came for a head rub.
Vet check 11am Wednesday, then we're hers

Meanwhile I've discovered just how far I can go with tummy rubs before she decides I really want to play - and then how fast she is and how sharp her claws are ... very and ouch! She only drew blood twice.

Loads of people have Tortie cats here! Me too!

    Here's my daft tortie, Copper:
It's not a perfect picture but it completely captures her personality.

She loves her little catnip sack:

My Firebellied Newts, Cookie and Kula:

    Doing press-ups:

    My little Syrian hamster Sooty:
He had a stroke last week, and is quite old, so he may not last much longer. :cryin: I love him though. :aureola:

On his way to the vet:

Nosy boy: Rubbish picture but I love it!

    My fish tank:
Not a very recent picture but close enough to what it looks like now.

My little female Blue Ram. Unfortunately she got awful pop-eye and I had to euthanise her:

    I think that's them all...?!

    Ah another naughty tortie !
How on earth do you manage with a cat like that in a house full of cat food?
    - hamster
    - fish
    - newts
I think that Tess, being an ex-farm cat, might consider that lot as diet supplements

She's scared of the hamster, no, she's terrified of the hamster.
She's fascinated by the fish,. but I don't think she'd quite worked out that they are what's in her cat food.
The newts are too boring for her to care about them.

The only thing she hunts is her food bowl. :rolleyes5:
