A few from this year's Revival.
Two fantastic single marque races, AC Cobras and Ferrari 250 GTOs.
Can you imagine the value of the race grid? £300 million for the Ferrari race.
Walking around the paddock there's a GTO, oh look another, and another, and another ... by the time it reaches the 15th it's just another GTO and it's easy to get blasé about it.
Same for the AC Cobras, when it gets to the 10th in difficult light it's tempting to give up and photograph something else that's in better light.
But the racing! They were all out, lots of elbows and opposite lock seemingly with no thought for the value of the multi-million pound cars. Fantastic to watch and at times hair-raising.
And the saloon cars, talk about little and large!
Of course the big Jaguars had the power advantage on the straight, but they had to brake hard for the corners.
The classic battle between power and handling as the smaller, lighter cars challenged them in the corners and won.
Oh and let's not forget the parade laps of the largest collection of Silver Arrows on track, with their Audi counterparts, and a sprinkling of their vanquished competitors in period. Mercedes opened up their museum and brought the cars out to play.
