I'm like Frog don't know what Glamcabs is but they are so retro. They are all great but that last girl with the freckles was look SO appropriate for what I think the event was, I loved that one.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??
Nikon Samurai #13
"A photographer is known by what he shows not by what he throws. The best photographers have the biggest trash cans." Quote from Nikon School sometime in the early 1970's.
To put our American cousins out of their misery ... Glamcabs was a fictitious taxi company in a film called Carry on Cabby. The Carry on films were a long-running (and much loved) comedy series of films - they made over 30 of them and the early (best) ones tapped into social changes of the day - in Carry on Cabby's case, it was about women's rights/feminism in the early 60s. Any Brit would know about the Carry On films. You can see a poster and some info for the film at: http://www.carryonline.com/carryonli...ryoncabby.html
You can see from the poster that the uniforms worn in Paul's pictures are authentic!
