    Bath Time

For Yoda, the killer lizard. Dawn took Yoda to the vet last month, and we were informed that Yoda is a female lizard. BTW, Paul told me two years ago Yoda was female - Mr. Know It All is good to have around!

The vet treated Yoda for worms and giardia, and she has BULKED UP since then! So she is shedding every other week it seems. Regular baths are now part of her routine, for her health, and to help her with her shedding. So last night, when she went into the tub, the 5700 came out. This is a great little camera, and part of the reason I'm starting to warm up (a little) to digital. The prints Penny sent me taken with her 5700 went a long ways to warming me up to digital! :-)

    Without further ado...

    I can hear it now:

"Hey Speed, you coming to the Chicago gathering?"
"No, I have to give my lizard a bath."
"Yeah, and I have to re-arrange my sock drawer!"

I guess lizards and baths aren't a combination that crossed my mind before! I know how exciting it can be giving an Alaskan Malamute a bath though...

Talking See, digital doesn't hurt a bit. ;)

    Good work Speed!

    P.S. See, digital doesn't hurt a bit. ;)

You are so right Penny! It doesn't hurt at all - except for the wallet maybe. :-O

As for Yoda, she can be a pistol! Scratches (which feel like paper cuts!), and she bites. She can be a mean lizard when she wants to. If she weren't so young, I'd swear she was the inspiration for Godzilla!

Thank you for the comments. They are always appreciated.

Sounds kind of dirty when you put it like that! My, my.

While she isn't crazy about baths, once she's in the tub, she seems to enjoy it. It's suppose to help ease the dryness and itching of shedding. I don't how much longer we will be able to bath her in the tub though. At the rate she's growing, she will outgrow the tub by next year!

But now we have confirmation, that once again, you were RIGHT! :-)

She does look healthier. Dawn was worried that she wasn't growing, so she took her to the vet. After her treatments, she took off and started to bulk up. She has easily doubled her weight in the last six weeks! Now I'm beginning to wonder if she's going to need a larger cage...
