    Futuristic, science-fictional musing...

I wish we could somehow attach a camera to our brains, linked to our optic nerve. Then when we see something awesomely cool, we could just instantly think "snap!" and be able to share the image.

I just glanced over at my cat, and she is sitting upright on her cat tower by the window as if she's looking out the window, but her head is pointing STRAIGHT down as she examines a ladybug on the floor. It's just the most incongruous posture I've seen, and I wish I could share it.

Her posture is reminiscent of Snoopy sitting at the top of a tree, pretending to be a vulture pouncing down on Linus' blanket. A really weird angle of the neck.

Anyway, my point is, I have the camera right next to me but pulling it out would completely ruin the moment.

Whaddya think, are optic-nerve cameras feasible in our biotechnical future? We've already got cochlear implants, etc...

Heh heh, if you look at my posting times, you'll see you're almost right!

I'm operating on very little sleep at the moment.

I have asked my husband our in house science and technology freak...if that would at all be feasible some day...he said yes(he always says yes-when he's not listening lol)---I'll be first in line if I can be...

as far as Snoopy and the vulture....YOU are now the second person that knows about Snoopy and the vulture...everyone I try to explain that to always looks at me as if I have three heads! I try to recount it to explain how my daughter looks when she's about to swipe my son because she's ticked off...LOL

LOL, but upon even the most shallow of post-thought, I'm aware of all the legal, ethical and moral problems an optic-nerve camera could stir up...

Mark me down as #3. I LOVE da Snoopy Vulture!!! In fact, I stand at the top of the steps and "assume the pose" every once in a while when my wife comes in from work... what can I say? I don't get a lot of thrills in life these days.....
