    Ack!!!

Those two shots remind me of an episode of Twilight Zone.. The one where the family of a recently deceased millionaire must wear hideous masks before the reading of the will.. While the masks are on, they magically mold the face of the wearer into their contorted shapes, leaving the people disfigured.. Man, I miss that series.

Fun thread. I may have to head out and see if I can talk people into making faces for me so I can add to this topic.

    Hello Stranger!!
    Hiyas Lara!

Actually, that is a different episode called "The Eye of the Beholder" but the faces are very similar indeed. The episode I was referring to is called "The Masks" and I was wrong about the man being dead, he was on his death bed and had summoned his relatives to join him at which time he made them wear the aforementioned masks..

Great site, by the way. I'll have to make some time to search through it.

    Re: Ack!!!

Oh yeah, I remember that one too Brian! The guy who is dying invites relatives for some masquerade party and they are instructed to wear the masks to inherit his money.

Look what your photos invoked Andi Reminiscing about old Twilight Zone tv shows! Cool! TZ is way before your time, but I bet you've seen some of them.

Not too much to tell.. Been in a photo slump for over a year and it's frustrating the hell out of me. I recently picked up the new Coolpix 7900 in hopes that a new piece of gear will get me out and shooting again. We'll see. I honestly hope something breaks soon, I'm heading to Hawaii (Maui and Kauai) next month and I'd really like to return with some good images...

I was in Vegas in early June and thought of you and almost went back to Ruth's Chris, but decided I wanted to eat the rest of my stay so I opted for a buffet instead.

I took a whitewater rafting trip last weekend. My older son Keith and I went up to the Upper Cache (about 40 minutes NE of Woodland, CA) and spent 2 days on the river. Nothing too dificult, mind you.. Mostly class 2 with a couple class 3 thrown in for good measure. It was a lot of fun and was the first time I've been on a river since '89 or '90. I was kayaking back then though. This was my first time rafting.

Well, that's been my summer thus far. I'm excited about getting active with the PR.com crowd again. I've really missed everyone and look forward to meeting all those that have joined us in my absence.

    Slump Thread

    Brian-
Start a slump thread. That's always a good subject for discussion. It's something we all go through.

    Good to have you back!

LOL oops! Sorry Brian, I didn't mean to imply TZ was your era either. I'm the one who it's not before their time!
