Fun pictures......got any?

Browsing through my images I found some fun pics and thought it might be fun to post some of these. These were shot through a small door on the side of one of the ships docked in NYC (can't recall which one). Done with the XTi and 24-105 L lens.

This took place at one of the parades in NYC. The police were trying to block people from going up this street. Almost every person gave this policeman an argument.....I watched the whole thing......(note the girl on the left in the first picture is the next person to argue with the officer in the 2nd picture). As best as I can recall, this is how the conversations took place

"No, you really can't go any further!"


"Read my lips......NO"


"Please Mam, listen to me! You cannot go up this street"


"Now YOU listen to me SONNY...I'm old enough to be your mother"

These folks were a blast to watch and they were having a blast putting on their show. I love the second dancer back... both of her feet are off the ground.

My son is going to kill me, but here it goes......

Last month his football team had their annual talent show. He was completely dressed as a woman and I helped him with make-up and hair.

The poor boy could only find one dress at the Goodwill that would fit him.

Liz, these were taken with your lens. My apologies. lol

Getting started with the 'Mimi' make-up. The boys locker room is not a place for a mother. The things I let him talk me into. Gah!

YES! It worked - I can see the pics now.....you were brave going into the boys locker room to be the official make-up person and photographer! Thanks for posting them.
