    Fun with a P&S

I've only had the G9 for three days now, and I'm really liking it. It's nice to have a small camera to take with me when I'm walking my dogs and don't want to carry a DSLR.

all very nice shots, but the leaf pic is my favorite. the g9 really takes amazing quality pictures.

when i eventually get a new p&s as a back-up it will most likely be the g9 or g10.

I've been thinking I need a G9 or G10 as well. Oh yeah, great shots! ;)

    Mike,

You and the G9 really worked well together on these shots. I agree with the others, that first image is awesome! I also enjoyed viewing the flowers. The last one is my favorite. You did a fine job with the composition, and the color and detail are amazing. I really love those Canon colors!

Thanks for looking and the kind words everyone. I'm still learning the ins and outs of this little camera. Lots of fun! My favorite is the first leaf pic too. The focus is a bit off of where I wanted it, but without the G9, I wouldn't have had any image because I wouldn't have taken my DSLR with me on this walk.

You have such a great eye, Michael. It's as they say, it's not the camera, it's the photographer...oh wait...that's lens...but in this case...it's the photographer!!!! Oh and the G9 definitely did it's part as well!! Great shots!!!
