    Fun with the fifty!

    Had the chance to take some pics of the kid while at my mothers today. First time out with the new 50mm f/1.8. You can see when I started losing the light. I should have used a fill flash on the last couple but just didn't want to.

    Ken, that first one is fantastic! Great DOF, and a perfect pose too, very flattering for her. I think you hit the nail on the head about lighting on the rest of them.

    The fourth one is nice, too, but a levels adjustment would be needed to make it just right.

    Keep on shooting with that 50mm!

    I've created a bunch of 50mm monsters lol.

    Beautiful shots of a beautiful young lady Ken. Don't ya just love that 50mm :thumbsup:

    Thanks everyone! Alison, yes you did create a monster and I love, love, LOVE this lens. This is my first prime and I keep going for the zoom ring. I really like how it makes me think more about composition.

    Ok, some levels adjustments on 3 and 4.

    I need a reflector.
