    friendly visitor

    well I was in the middle of building my new porch when I had a friendly guest showed up. Let you know about the size its siting on a 6x6 post. Maybe this is a good omen or good luck. hell I need it. I wish I had a macro for this moth

    Looks like a cecropia moth. The largest moth in North America. A great find. They only live as adults for a few days. They don't have a mouth so they can't eat. They look for a mate, and then die.
