A crying shame really. Thankfully, nothing near to that extent is implented in Canada, yet I'm sure Canada will follow suit. Yet, in a sense, I guess it's understandable, just frustrating.

It's reactionary, uninformed, and a waste or time and resources. Stopping people from taking pictures isn't going to stop nuts from bombing things. There are much better ways to protect the public than harassing photographers.

On the other hand, freedom is only an idea.
