First very attempt at digital painting!

Ooh I can't contain my excitement!
I have always been fascinated by digital paintings and have always wanted to do them myself.
So here it is my very first attempt at digital painting. I painted it last night.
I am so happy with the result!

Here's the original (sooc apart from the crop) ...

    ... and my painting

Beautifully done Ali. I love the original but your digital painting enhancements are terrific. I absolutely love her hair.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Looks fantastic to me. Maybe just a little too much effect on her left eye; on my monitor it looks like she has a lot of makeup on that one eye. Other than that, wow, the colors are awesome, especially the hair!

I can see what you mean but that eye is in shadow which is probably why it looks so much darker than the other.

Thank you all. Yeah I LOVE the hair too!
I used corel painter. It's not easy to do without a wacom tablet and a visual tutorial. Lot's of people sell dvd's to show you how.

i loved the painting more than the original. u have included so many flowers and the baby's posture attracts our attention
dear, u did this in photoshop, wonderful. but few years ago it was a practice to shoot tribal women pictures than paiint by hand on originals. those later sold to big companies for calendars/office hangings etc. and thousand s of small copies sold from book shops. wud like to see more, if u don't mind. thanks.

I don't think you have to commit to buy it. But when your trial is up that's it. The end.
That's when you will have to decide whether you are willing to buy it.
