    First time with Slide Film

Thanks to all those who helped with my questions on slide films, I finally got my roll back, and scanned in some of the good shots. These were all shot on Fuji Sensia 400, using my Minolta X-7A, mostly with a 50mm f/1.7 Minolta MD Lens with a UV filter. Colour and level balanced in Photoshop CS2

Look good, Axle. Have not tried any Sensia as yet, but may look into it. Think you made a wise choice with people in the shots. The Velvia may have given you fits on that.

Thank you srobb! I haven't shot Velva, the store I was at didn't have any in at the time.

Looks like you did fine! Velvia - at least Velvia 50 - would not be a good choice for most of these shots, it's too slow and makes caucasian skin look green. Unless you're shooting someone you don't like, anyway.

Sensia is a nice film. If you're looking for more zip, give Provia a shot. Velvia is hard to work with people
