    First time daddy, at age 49!

    I used to post on Photography Review a lot. Now only rarely. I've been, uh, preoccupied the last nine months with impending fatherhood! Wooo Hooo! Boy am I excited! On January 4th, my little personal miracle came into this world. Sophia-Phaedre is here!

    Photos taken with 10D and 28-70 2.8L, no flash, ISO 800.

    Steve this is wonderful news. I am so happy for you. In the last four months I have become a grandfather twice and I have another due in April. In twenty or so years you can now look forward to being a grand father too. Until that time spend as much time as you can with that beautiful little girl. Congratulations and don't be such a stranger. PR misses your frequent post and your documentation of the Louisville scene.
    Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

    Thanks, everyone! I have been the step-father to four in my life, and my oldest step-daughter turns 21 in April. This is my first child, though. It's very exciting! I actually feel, well, younger.

    Here is my favorite of the shots I took when my daughter was one day old. The 28-70 2.8L is a great lens for shots like this.
