    A Couple Of New Options

    Liz-
I have similarly mixed feelings about the Tokina. While I think it's a great lens, I really do miss that extra 2mm the Canon has to offer. But so far I haven't felt like I can't deal with the difference - I just miss it.

Here are a couple of new options that I learned of at PMA this year:

    Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX Lens - a 11-16mm f/2.8!

Tamron SP AF10-24MM F/3.5-4.5 DI II LD

It's the new Tokina that I covet! 11mm and a fixed f/2.8 aperture! But I wonder if I'd still miss that extra one millimeter?
