    First shots from the cp8400

Haven't had as much time to shoot as I would have liked, but I did manage to get outside about 10pm tonight and finally get a few shots of the house we just bought...Then I'll post some other shots in another thread. I have only cropped these and used autolevels in PSE2.
Admittedly, I haven't spent to much time on them, but any critique is always welcome. I did play with the spot metering abit on these.

Nice shot again Ken, in this batch I like the second one. I really like how you got the snow falling in the shot and the angle of the house.

All things considered, not bad for the first time out.

Nice job Ken. I like how those snow flaks showed up. Like I said earlier just give that camera it's head and have fun with it. Really like the new digs as well. Congrads on the new place.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Can any one tell me what causes the round spots to the left of the door on the first image?
I get the same spots once in a while on some images in low light situations, I use a 3.2 MP Stylus 300, Great it takes great pictures 99.9% of the time.

Bayville, I don't see any unnatural white spots except those closest to the camera. It's all snow. The closer to the camera and flash...the larger the flake...which were pretty good size that night. I checked the original and didn't notice any others abnormal white spots.
