Finally getting going!

I am pretty excited, I am finally getting some work coming! Just in the last two weeks I have done two weddings and senior pics, I have a maternity shoot coming up and am setting up another wedding. What is great is so far this is almost all from word of mouth. It is all happening way sooner then I expected.

I actually met with my one wedding couple yesterday to let them see and pick out their pics and they loved them(I was really worried because the conditions were far from ideal). At their wedding I was talking to one of the people there about doing a newborn shoot.

Kind of cool to finally get going.

Glad that someone likes shooting weddings! I've done a few for friends.. always as a backup, but still had some pressure.. doubt I would like it as a job. Getting good shots and having the people like your final work makes it all worth it I suppose.

hehe, I really did not want to do weddings but after doing a few, I kind of am liking it. The biggest thing I stress is the type of pictures I do. I do not do strictly formal, I do kind of a mix between journalism, formal and abstract. It is really fun, especially when you meet a fun photogenic couple.

Good for you, Chow. It can be stressful but also rewarding as well. The pay ain't too bad either. . . .
