finally #700.....and a flash

So I've been waiting and waiting, until I got around to trying my flash before I posted, so that my 700th post was semi-interesting (at least to me) instead of responding to something else.

My flash came about two weeks ago, I got a 420ex, and other than making sure it fired, I haven't really used it at all. I'm just really not all that interested in it. But I do want to know how to use it, should I ever need it.

So here's my first official flash photo. Okay, not first, because we took about 17, and this probably #10 or 11....

Yeah, not so bad I guess....I'm giving myself until the end of May to figure it out, and I'm talking basic use, none of that crafty stuff.
