    Feyth

Ok guys, let me apologize a bit in advance. This is not a photo. It is a 3d work. It does include three of my photographs as if they are in display in the gallery she is running through. Two of the three shots have been critiqued here already. The third you cannot see very well.

Why is it here? Well I like your inputs on composition and lighting, so I wonder if you have anything to say about that. In general I guess I need to go find a CG forum for technical critique on the rendering and content, etc. I would not put it here at all if it did not have my photography in it.

    What do you think?

And in general, is it inappropriate to put this content here?

It is still a work in progress. It needs a lot of post processing work as well as a few things that need to be added into the shot.

Not my kind of thing and whether it belongs or not, I'll let the mod decide.
I did notice one thing and that was that you said she was running, yet there is no motion blur and she looks more like a stature on display in an art museum.

Keeping in mind it's a work in progress, you've got a great foundation going here. I used to do A LOT of 3-D modeling. Your textures are probably busier than they need to be, but your ambient & point lighting are well placed and proper intensity (I would knock the reflectivity of the skin back just a bit though. What software are you using? I used to just build them in a CAD program and export to 3DS Max to skin 'em.

    Re: Feyth

Yeah jet the wall is busy, was hoping to tone it down in compositing. It is the lighting that interests me in 3d work, and I am struggling with it in photography too.

My 3d tools are primitive. Daz studio at this point with zbrush for some stuff. I hesitate to invest in higher power tools until I build some skills.

While the tech skills with photography are completely different, the eye for good composition and lighting are similare, so I am trying to think about them at the same time.

    Anyway, thanks...

And yeah, frog, probably will want to put in at least a bit of motion blur on the final work, since the light in this scene would not enable sutter speeds high enough for a motion freeze. So if you are trying to think of it as photography, that makes sense.
