Few shots from San Pedro, California

We ate at our favorite seafood place today. I always a get a couple interesting shots while there.

This shot is a fine example of natural camouflage. If you don't see the bird, let me know and I'll point it out. =)

This one is my favorite for the day. See the shot's co-star?

In case a few were wondering, I haven't been on PR forums since last October thinking I would come up with an interesting 1000th post. Unfortunately, it didn't happen and I ended up missing out on intersting PR dicussions and played a lot of online poker instead. I'm looking forward to learning more from you all as usual. =)

Welcome back, Manasca! Hope you still got your wallet.

I really like that first shot. And yes, I found the bird, hehe.

    Don't be a stranger, eh?

    Hello and thank you, Ray!

I've had this itch to hit Palm Springs and shoot up at Mt. San Jacinto State Park. You were the first on my mind to ask since you live near there. Interested?

I have my wallet but it's a bit empty.

Sure! But if you're gonna come this way it's best to plan it for spring. Reason is, that's when all the desert wildflowers start blooming and we could catch the bloom on a trail toward Tahquitz peak from Palm Springs. Also, there's a tram that goes up from Palm Springs to Mt. San Jacinto. Think of it...pictures from 10,000 feet above sea level! You're welcome to bring your wife and kids and stay the night. We could make it a family event.

But for your own good, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to keep you out of Morongo casino.
