A few pictures from Budapest.

Miss M and I took a little bike ride on our tandem from Frankfurt to Budapest.

I had the Olympus 420 (great travel camera BTW) along.

That's a hell of a bike tour! Thanks for sharing and mentioning the E-420. As soon as I saw you'd posted I wanted to hear about how the camera worked for you. Perhaps you can make an E-420 trip report on the Olympus forum?

How long of a trip was it in miles and days?

I like the photo of the antiqeu cameras. That's a cool catch. At least for posting on a photography site it is. I don't know what if the folks on RoadbikeREVIEW.com would appreciate it as much as I do

The 420 didn't take up much room at all and I carried a mini-travel tripod. I also had a Pentax optimo waterproof camera for on-bike stuff.

We rode for 2 weeks and got in around 1,200 miles (we zig-zagged and got lost a bunch).

I was tempted by those cameras. The guys on Road Bike Review liked my ride reports just fine but no one commented on the cameras....

Yes but not as much as we would have liked to.

A pleasure to view your travel log. It's amazing what can be done with a small camera in the hands of an experienced photographer with a great eye.

On a bike AND you took photo's, holy crap and I complain about walking around a race track in the heat :blush2: Is your face on the Medal for Patron Saint of Photographers? Oh, all that aside, the photos are awesome! Love the colors of the fruit and the camera shot also!

We pretty much ride every day of the year and often take week long bike trips.

Not a big deal if you do it all the time.
