    Fall photos. Let's see them!

In honor the start of fall, for some of us anyway, let see you're photos!

    Utah Aspens Are Awesome!

The aspens in the Wasatch Mountains are spectacular this year!. Last year this time we already had snow sticking at altitude and the leaves were all gone. But this year is different. These are the best aspens I think I've ever seen in my life. I'm used to seeing yellow aspen leaves but this year I'm seeing orange and red. I don't know but I don't think that's normal. And of course, I'm doing my best to document the colors as well as I can

This photo was taken a couple of days ago at Silverlake, between Brighton and Solitude ski resorts. It was taken at dusk with the trees in shadow. I took it with the Olympus E-5 and 35-100mm f/2.0 zoom lens. I've also got a bunch of mountain bike photos I took today up on the Wasatch Crest but I haven't had a chance to look at them yet...

    Another

I'm calling this one, "Wasatch Color Pallete." Can you see why?

I took this one today on a mountain bike ride. I've got some with Jenni riding but I think this one is better. Once again - taken with the Olympus E-5. This time I was using the 12-60mm lens and a polarizer.

Very nice John. Those were the types of colors I was hoping to capture in Tahoe, but I got there a little too early I think and it was just starting to turn...

Re: Fall photos. Let's see them!

Around my parts, nothing signifies the start of fall better than the annual pumpkin festival in a nearby town of only 14,000 people. To say the town is completely inundated with people (and pumpkins) during the three days would be an understatement.
