    Eric & Kimberly got engaged!

So I booked a wedding for June (Woohoo!) and as it just so happened I was flying out to UT to visit family for the weekend where the future B&G are both attending BYU. So I got a chance to meet up with them on campus for their engagement photos. Weather was nice, except for the tons of smoke we had from 2 different fires plus some nice wind.

The couple is really cool, and were pretty much up for anything.

    9. I used to ride rollercoasters for hours at a time (no joke). I realized I have a hard time swinging on a swing while trying to keep in pace with other people swinging!

    13. Yea, yea lots of people do this, but I hadn't done it before

I bet they're happy with them.
    I especially like 2 and 7.
13 is interesting but I didn't know lots of people did it.

I like the swing set photo, I'll have to keep it in mind for future use.

    Thanks.
    No, I DON'T need that.

Excellent, Scott! Someday we'll coordinate when you're here. It's really ridiculous that we haven't managed to meet yet

I like the ropes photos and that montage where you put two images together is great. I didn't know lots of people do it, either. For that matter, I don't care. It's fun and probably only people immersed in the wedding photo business would know that.

I'm glad you don't have any photos of them in a dirty alley or with grafitti in the background. I am sick of those engagement photos - especially here in Utah, where they're always photos of lilly white, entirely sheltered Mormon kids. Those photos actually offend me and they seem especially popular here.

Seriously, we're on like what, 5 trips so far & no meetings? I see how it is! ;) We probably won't be out there until after Christmas/January, and once the date is set we'll make plans for a meetup.

I like seeing both types of photos, but not necessarily shooting them. I'm more of a forest/field or urban type of portrait photographer.

The playground was actually their idea and I'm glad we did them.

I tried to keep track to reference which one's I really liked, but there were quite a few, and lost count I will say that some of the jungle gym ones seem a bit distracting with the equipment in front of them. The swing one is really cool, and the multiple exp shot was real good.
    mostly Nikon gear
