FROM THE EDGE with Peter Lik

Hey friends, wasn't sure which section was most appropriate for this so I went with the lounge.

The Weather Channel has a new photography centered show premiering tonight called FROM THE EDGE with Peter Lik.

Wasn't sure if anyone here had heard about it but I didn't see any posts. I just heard about it myself tonight because oddly enough, I found myself watching the weather channel for some reason! Looks like a pretty cool show, even if the guy kinda acts like the Crocodile Hunter, lol.

    Here is a link.

Worth a look, thanks for the heads up

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I have no issues with you editing my photos

    You're welcome!

I watched the premier and I liked it alot. It was great because he explained all the challenges he faced with getting each shot and went through his exposure time and ISO settings, he didn't just shoot and show how awesome he was.

The shot he got from the top of the mountain of the night sky was totally amazing.

Thanks for the reminder... Our tv died three days ago, just before I had a chance to tag it to record... Just replaced it last night, so now I'll have to try to hunt down a replay of it..

Looking forward to watching it and future episodes...

Last two episodes have been really cool. Gotta give this dude credit, he goes to lengths to get these shots.

I also liked when he put away his Mamiya and busted out the Canon. It was just for a couple of shots though. I really like the show, it's not like he's giving photography lessons, but he talks alot about the composition, perspective and exposure of shots that really inspire.

Here are some of the photos featured on the show thus far.
