    Slow Night at the Carnival

Had some time to kill while Joy and the daughters were registering at Babies"R"Us and a carnival was setup in a near by parking lot. Did a quick walk through and took a few snaps. It was a very slow night and one of the carnies told me they had been there to long and it was time to move on.

    Fun!

Fun stuff, Old Timer. I dig carny photos. I like the blurred lights and that nostalgic Americana feel they have.

Been years since I had been to a carnival it was a real kick. I'll do it again for sure.

Lovely iconic images Larry! You made so many wonderful compositions. Really like the one with the two of everything, 2 carts, 2 people looking the same way with the same pose and an older couple just entering the scene. Also really like the Tilt-a-whirl whirl with the couple and the little girl waiting. Just excellent, thank you for sharing these!

Yes I like shooting at carnivals too! Lots of opportunities and if I recall you've got one of the Nikons that is great for this kind of work.

Now, just get on some of those rides and shoot from the top of the Ferris wheel and while riding the Tilt-A-Whirl!!

I like that overview of the Carnival from a distance and the Midway is always a riot of color and characters to photograph!

Beautiful shots! Just full of character!

Each one is unique in it's own way. I love them all.

I think my favorite is the one with the cop on the phone - and the carnival-busy background.

    Fine work. And fun.......
