    Duluth, Minnesota trip

So I headed up to Duluth today for my birthday, pretty exciting, I know most of you are jealous. Anyway, I took a bunch of random pictures while I was out and I'm sitting back in the hotel right now bored, so here you have it. I'm still very amateur which is why I didn't post them in the critique section. :cryin: Anyway, nothing special, I was excited I nabbed the seagull though!

But, I was very pleased with this seagull shot. I took this while tracking him through the view finder flying, like 20MPH. I was very happy it turned out.

The bridge at night. I forgot my tripod which I was very disappointed about so I had to use the roof of my car. HA HA HA!! Sucks that all the cars had to be in the way, but that is the price of pictures in a parking lot.

We've learned to fly the air like birds, we've learned to swim the seas like fish, and yet, we haven't learned to walk the earth as brothers and sisters.

Well that looks familiar! I lived in Duluth from 1968-1973. Our house had a sweet view of most of the city and the lift bridge and used to watch ships going under it all the time day and night except in the winter of course. In the winter you can get some really neat ice formations down there along the lake.
    I miss Duluth!
    Oh, nice photos too

It was a good time. I wanted to have a chance to go up high and take some pictures down onto the city cause there are some good shots to be had. Didn't have time though. The Duluth zoo was a lot of fun too. I got a lot of fun pictures. It's one of the better zoos I've been too!

Ah yes Duluth, I grew up in the neighboring city of Superior WI and still love that area. One of my favorite songs is I like it in Duluth by the Moose Wallow Ramblers. Nice photos of the Aerial lift bridge and canal park BTW.
