An hour or two with a good shooting buddy,after too much time at work these last few months,was heaven.We headed for a dilapidated part of Jakarta,and enjoyed the late day sun.

I found it natural to concentrate on people,mostly,while my bro aimed at buildings.

Its always an adventure,this city,from the mini-bus driver (close up ) to the bus station (last photo) and gave me plenty to play with in a recently acquired Elements and Lightroom.

Nice job Susaan. Urban deterioration seems to be a fact of life everywhere. However it can make for some very interesting images as you have demonstrated.

- its been really hard to find time to get out and shoot,just got first DSLR,Canon 40D,and hope to return to the scene in a few weeks to see how it does.

Street people over here have less problems from the weather,police are more accepting of their existence and tend to leave them be,and food is very cheap,but buildings like these are a hazard for them,several warned me not to go in,they do collapse and injure folks.
