    Down at the pond.

I went out to the marina at The Great Salt Lake a few days ago to try out my new Sigma 12-24. Actually saw the sun for a while as opposed to all the rain we had been having. Things are looking good now in Utah though. First two shots taken with 12-24, third with Tamron 200-400. Have a good weekend all,

    Speaking of "rain"

That last photograph is good one!
I like the contrast in the bright and the dark and the visial balance too.
The placement of the conoeist(SP?) is right where he should be.
I think it would be a little beter if you cropped out the sky.
    So speaking of rain...
Have you been out for a ride?

    Re: Speaking of "rain"

    Hey Brian,
Thanx for the comments. I kept messing around trying to find a crop of that one and got fed up when I got to the version you see.
Speaking of cropping, yes, I was in Fruita last weekend on a solo trip for a couple days. I started in Moab on Friday but it was way too crowded for me. Now I remember why I go in the off season. Fruita was great. Not crowded at all being the weekend after the FFTF. I'm doing the Salt Lake Century tomorrow with my sister on her tandem.
We need to go ride dude. I want to do some funk with that 12-24 and need a victim. Later,
    Scooter
