    dimensions/resolution for posting in gallery

Title kinda sums it up. I can't quite get my settings right so that my enlarged images aren't massive in the gallery.

I used to post mine at 600px on the longest side, and now I've gone to posting 800px on the longest side.

Re: dimensions/resolution for posting in gallery

Only time I post directly to the gallery is if I want to post a shot larger than 800 max. Then I use a max of 1100 which will still fit inside the 'window' on most monitors. - TF

    This one is 1120 x 683 and fits. http://gallery.photographyreview.com...&ppuser=250919
Don't know why I used 1120...something to do with something.
I agree that if they are super huge and can't be seen on a 19 or 20 inch monitor, they are too big, though sometimes if detail is wanted it is worth it.

Assuming you mean DPI, no it doesn't matter. - TF
