If I could produce images like Bresson it wouldn't matter what I had to spend or do. THE true master IMHO.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Ajuk, so tell us some about your impressions of the camera! How long have you owned the digital Leica?
He hasn't. He's just teasing us. It will be officially introduced at Photokina, next month in Cologne, Germany. I think we will have one for testing shortly after that. I think it's a really exciting camera. I hope it's more Leica than Panasonic, as most Leica digital stuff has been much more Panasonic than Leica. However, the Digital Module R back has a Kodak sensor. And I would bet (hope) the M Digital will, too.
So what's the Bresson mode? Does it know how to time the moment for you? I don't even care what it is. If that's for real and not a fake photo, then it's awesome!

May I test it for you?
BTW, how much does a digital Leica cost? Almost afraid to ask. I'm not interested, but just curious. Also, isn't part Leica - part Panasonic sort of compromising the Leica name/reputation?

A digital Leica compact costs about $150 more than the Panasonic equivalent. They've had a pertnership for a long time. Leica provides the optical design and Panasonic provides the electronics. At least that's the case for the compact digital cameras. Most of the Panasonic compacts have a Leica twin. The Digital Module R is a different animal, though. Check out Larry's review that I linked in my last post. There should be a price in there. But consider you need to buy the Leica R8 or R9 35mm body and the back. That's a bit of a financial commitment
The M Digital will be mostly Leica, I think. It may be little or no Panasonic. Because I don't think we'll be seeing a Panasonic version of that camera. It just wouldn't make sense.
I've decided I'm going to make a sticker for the mode dial on my camera with a Bresson mode

I checked out the link. Very interesting. Just to show you how naive' I am, I thought this was a regular digital P&S and thought it might be a bit more expensive. Well, it is a bit more expensive at $5,999. "cough"
Thanks for the information. I learned something today. Nothing nice comes cheap. :yikes: I'll stick to my Canon stuff. I'm quite happy with Canon optics! especially since I mortgaged my life this past year to buy the 24-105IS L.

I understand. I think Leica gear is wonderful. But I don't know if it's that wonderful. Larry will probably do the M Digital review for us. Maybe he can tell us
