    Detroit Fist Bump

This one's for CD! I trudged over to the Joe Louis sculpture (the fist) in below-zero weather for a fist-bump. Below. Zero. Weather. OMG was Detroit cold.

    (As well as snowy.)

The second shot is (of Canada, really) from the top of the tower in the Renaissance Center. I think It's a GM building. Anyway - it was snowing, and the windows tinted. The Pinot Noir was great, so I didn't have too much patience for futzing around with the white balance!

Oh, and a shot from the Detroit auto show!

I just realized I didn't photograph *any* cars (I had to photograph events for my client), except a few of the Camaro for my friend's boyfriend. So for all you car lovers... the new Camaro!

    Thanks Megan!!

If it is that double silo like building yes it is a GM (or was??) property. Otherwise with the tinted windows it could just be the Renaissance Center itself.

Yes you can photograph two countries at the same time shooting up or down River in Detroit.

Happy traveling and thanks for sharing that 'fist bump'.

    The Camaro looks pretty cool.

Goes to a car show and takes 'one' car photo . . . I just don't know what the world's coming to

Hm - I was on the 74th floor of the office tower in the Renaissance Center - the swanky restaurant at the top.

Isn't awful that I didn't photograph the cars?!?! Oh well. I was there to photograph other things for my client. I did get to the Detroit Museum of Art - wonderful collection of Renaissance art. I'd go back to Detroit just to spend another day wandering around that museum.

I actually like the tint rather than having you adjust the white balance. I think a white shot would just look dirty. This way it looks a little bit nighttime, a little bit foreboding.

Great pictures, I to like the way the picture came out thru the glass. Nice looking car, now I have something to look forward to when it comes to Chicago next month. My gf and I are going so I hope to get some pictures myself.
