Detroit Auto Show - car pics!

It turns out I did take photos of a few cars. The shots I took of the Mustang came out really bad, but the Chrysler mini van that has electric power and the Smart car came out not so bad.

I've also included a few pics from the ribbon cutting. One of the mayor of Detroit Kenneth V. Cockerel, Rick Wagoner shaking hands, and the ribbon about to be cut into.

Ah you got the ED mkII, I wondered if Tesla would deliver on time.

Tesla Motors indeed had a huge display, and I've been singing the OMD song "Tesla Girls" ever since.

Have they sorted out their problems with poor quality (every US car manufacturer seems to suffer that) and late delivery ?
Electric is the short term future for the car, definitely.
I'm considering the Smart ED mkII (well I am a smart wombat!) or the European model Tesla.

I don't know, actually - I didn't know they (Tesla Motors) existed until I saw them in Detroit. I hadn't seen them in LA, Seattle or San Francisco. I actually don't know much about the industry, I'm just a hired gun with a car show client! I'm having fun though.
