    Day out with a Volunteer

This young lady is a volunteer firefighter/emt with the same fire company as mine. I got her to model for me so I could use my D50 and E510 to compare some shots. I used a few lens's from my brother as I don't have any of my own yet. All in all Iam happy with the results, i need to learn to pose people better. What do you guys think.

Tyson, I think you did a good job with these. They are all great shots. I do think the second would work better if she were barefoot. And I am not sure about the first shot....I just have a problem with being in the middle of the road. The last shot would be more pleasing to my eye if you lost the sticks in the foreground.

Nice shots Tyson what does the volunteer think of them? Are these straight out of the camera?

I have not gotten any feedback from my model yet, but I am sure she likes them. At least you two guys like them. Thanks for the comments.

Re: Day out with a Volunteer

Tyson, overall great images, very pretty model. My only nitpicks are in the first one, where her foot seems to grow out of her head - my eyes go from the yellow lines to her hands to her face and then to the foot, which I then find a bit distracting. As well, the sticks/branches in the bottom part of the last one detract from the image a bit - they tend to take your eyes away from the model. In the fourth one, the wisps of hair in her face are also a bit distracting. My 0.02¢.

I would really like to know what your model thinks of them...

    Cheers,

    WesternGuy
