    Talking Dawn, Bigger Than Life

Did you know that there are only three health departments in North Carolina that provide pediatric care? Now you know. And Craven County is one of those three. Where the gracious and lovely Dawn works, as a pediatric care provider. Craven County decided to publicize this fact, and on a Thursday afternoon the idea was floated about taking a photo of Dawn with a couple of her patients. The catch: the photo had to be in on Monday and it had to be shot at 300dpi.

So Sunday, we travel to the Health Department where a couple of parents brought their kids in for this photo. I took quite a few of Dawn and the boy (the girl was being MOST uncooperative), and I only got three shots of the three of them. This one was deemed to be the best of those, so it was put up in James City.

First photo is what I took in the exam room, the second photo is what went on the billboard. And this proves that Dawn looks good at any size, be it an 80X80 pixel avatar or a full size billboard.

Caveat here: The sun was behind the billboard when I took this picture, hence the washout look. I will take another shot of it with the sun more favorably placed.
