    Dance Recital

I went to a dan recital with a friend and lugged along my camera to shoot her sister. I ended up shooting a lot more. It was a lot of fun and I think I got some pretty decent shots.

Opinions, suggestions, comments are all welcome and greatly appreciated! This is the first time I have shot anything like this.

Canon 40D, 24-105L IS, 3200 ISO, mostly shot at f/4.

These are very nice John, but I thought sure I was going to see you in a tutu. Color me disappointed.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

These look great - looks like you got a lot more than you thought you would...and at ISO 3200 as well, with my favourite lens. I love the 4th one - real concentration. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with OT...where are you in ur tutu??? hehe
But seriously John...fantastic job!! All are great. The top one is awesome. To capture her in midair is always exciting. This girl has some serious skills.
But #4 is by far "toooooo cute"...great capture.

Thanks guys. I just did my best and hoped for a good outcome.

As for my tutu, I wasn't dancing that night. Maybe next time!
