    Cute Kid Thread 2008

As most of you know I rarely miss an opportunity to show off one of the grandsons. Joy and I spent the weekend in Columbus visiting with our 16 month old grandson Wesley. I am going to start things off with a few of him from this weekend. I expect all you proud parents and grandparents to join in with your cute kid pics. Here is your chance Frog post them up.

PS: I rarely miss an opportunity to post one of Joy either.

Thank you Adina. I think I first became really aware of how important it was to get good focus on the eyes form your images of the girls. I was always amazed at how they stood out and made the whole photo so much more dramatic and pleasing. I have made a special effort ever since then to focus on the eyes. This little guy is my only blue eyed one out of four children and four grandchildren. Makes his eyes kind of special to his blue eyed Pop.

Oh, oh oh -- my turn! Don't ask me where she picked it up -- but a couple of weeks ago my daughter asked me to get pictures of her Elvis impersonation. Like I said before - I have no idea where she picked it up since we're more likely to listen to Elvis Costello than Elvis Prestley.

    Re: Cute Kid Thread 2008

Oh we got CUTE going on now for sure. Nice additions everyone. Kids are so much fun to photograph. They don't have to be new pics just cute kids. I think when I get home I'll try to look up a couple of my adult kids when they were in the cute phase and post some of those. (Not that that they aren't still cute to me even if they are in their 20's and 30's.)

This is my 18 yo and my 7 yo daughter. I adore the look my daughter is giving Santa (Brendan). She knows it's him, but still wants to believe.

Absolutely wonderful Julie. Thanks for play along with us in this thread. I think you are a lot like me in that I have more fun with the images of the kids and now grandkids than any other kind of photography. Even though I love my sports and macros. The kids are still more fun and all the family and our friends can enjoy them with me.

Okay here we go with more cute kids circa around 1982 (?). The little guy on the right is Wesley's dad from my first post in this thread. That cutie in the middle is Pepper523 who just happens to be Paul's mom form my second post in the same thread.
