    Cool video - Photosynth

    This is a pretty interesting video showing how a program can pull images from the internet, and renders them together. The Photosynth program is towards the end.

    Holy cow. Amazing technology.

    Michael, this is not a reflection on you. But it amazes me how we have people and money dedicated to linking together every picture on the planet, but we can't seem to find enough food to feed every mouth on the planet.

    Sorry for the OT rant I kinda couldn't help it. It is amazing technology!

    I wonder how fast of a machine you need to run a program like that?

    I wondered the same thing. It was presented in such a way that made it look like it was going to be available on any home machine. I can't wait until the day you can watch any corner of the earth LIVE via satelite
