So I got this interesting little piece of equipment from a friend as a gift...A Lensbaby Composer. It's actually rather neat, it may take a bit to get used to it. Some first results.
Feel free to share any shots you've taken with your lensbaby.
I tried approximating the t/s effect by shooting with the lens halfway off the camera body. Worked pretty well, but I'm really not into the idea of sensor trashing. Somehow I'm thinking that one of these would be a much better option.
I nearly bought one, but realised that there is nothing at the rear to prevent dust.
The composer has removable elements, glass singlet, glass doublet, plastic, and pinhole/zone plate. When you remove those elements there is a nice plastic tube straight into the body.
I would like to see a simple glass (or plastic) plate across the back to stop the dust getting into the body - my main problem with the older bodies I own.
It's a lensbaby, no need to worry about the quality implications
