Oh these are priceless!!! Love them, such a great way to show off the cool kids. Thanks for sharing these with the whole community, even those of us that don't qualify as a cool kid.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

"A photographer is known by what he shows not by what he throws. The best photographers have the biggest trash cans." Quote from Nikon School sometime in the early 1970's.
“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels, in the deepest sense, about what is being photographed, and is, thereby, a true manifestation of what one feels about life in its entirety...” - Ansel Adams

"I thought that because fewer wolves meant more deer, that no wolves would mean hunters' paradise. But after seeing the green fire die, I sensed that neither the wolf nor the mountain agreed with such a view."

Well me and the mrs. went down to Chicago for the lighting festival on mich. ave. and to meet up with the "cool people" of PR. We both had a great time with everyone from the site. Just wish I hadn't been so tired. I was told to post some of the pics I took in the thread that Sebastian starts about the "chicago meeting" so I guess this is it... here is what I got. I did not take any pics of the group though .... left that to Sebastian :mad2:
Unfortunately we got there late in the afternoon and had to keep bumping up the iso.
Shot #1 - first thing we saw when we got to mich. ave. "THE COPPER COWBOY"
Shots #2,3,4 - Ice carving display
Shot #5 - Wrigley building I believe
Shots #6 - 11 - Millennium Park
Shot #12 - Chicago River
Shot #9 is my favorite. Could of spent a long time at that bean and getting different shots. The wife likes the skaters stopped and everyone moving around them. We both like the last shot of the river. Bumped the iso up to 1600 so there is ALOT of noise in it but still a nice shot.
I understand you gotta do what you gotta do to get the shot... That was the first time I have bumped up the iso... Still very happy with the results... Now I just need more practice with photoshop ...
Dayna will be happy to hear that you like the same pic she does...
