    Cherry Blossoms in D.C.

My wife and I took my parents to Washington D.C. at the end of March. It wasn't much of a photo trip, but still a lot of fun. I almost left my DSLR kit at home, and I wish I would have. A small camera was all I really needed, and wanted to carry with me. The DSLR was just too much and when it becomes a burden, the photography really suffers. A small camera keeps things fun, and that's what it's all about. This was taken with the G9.

Here is a link to a pano of the tidal basin with the cherry blossoms in full bloom. Click and drag the image to see the entire thing, and you can zoom in.

"I thought that because fewer wolves meant more deer, that no wolves would mean hunters' paradise. But after seeing the green fire die, I sensed that neither the wolf nor the mountain agreed with such a view."
