Went to see him at an outdoor concert Sat night. heres 2 of the better shots, most of them are totaly blown out. The white shirt and hat in the spotlight were trouble. The stage is fairly accessable so I took only a 50mm 1.8. I would have been better off taking 100mmf2.8.
His voice sounds just like it used to.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you shoot with a D70? Which means you were shooting at the equivalent of a 75mm f1.8.

Your right! And a 100mm would have been 150mm equivolent. A minolta 7d would have been nice to have since a vr lens costs so much.
