    intro

    hello all! new to the site, been dabbling in photography...definitely still new. started out doing a lot of automotive photography (belong to a vw/audi enthusiasts group). walk around town and take randoms. posted some shots here for comments and criticisms...so fire away.

    hoping to pick your brains, get some info and gain some knowledge from you all.

    Welcome! I took a quick look at your Photo Critique post. That's a great way to jump into things if you're serious about photography. I think our Photo Critique forum is very, very good. We've worked hard to make sure it's a good place for real feedback on photos. Looks like you've got a good eye for location and composition. The only thing I noticed in my quick glance was that you might be able to use a faster lens (large aperture) so you can make the backgrounds on your car photos out-of-focus. That would definitely improve the parking garage photo.

    Welcome to PR! You've come to the right place, and an intro here on VF is perfect - along with posting your photos in Critique for suggestions on how to improve.

    I enjoyed viewing your shots. It shows your interest in photography and cars (as well as transportation - from walking to driving to taking a trolley). Just kidding!

    At any rate, I really like the stairs - as is.
