    Welcome,
I'm kinda new here as well. I haven't posted any photos yet; hope to do so soon and open myself up for critques. Particulary since I've been picking on daq7 jest. I think I'll learn something from some very talented people here.
    So here goes,
Composition of the stairs works for me. The color of the trolley pops.
Are these digital or film creations? Equipment? Post processing?
    Regards,

Welcome! You've come to a good place to learn - and though you may not feel qualified (I still don't), by critiquing the photos of others, you will learn a lot - as well as contribute to the forum.

I like the stairs the best. The shadows make it interesting. The trolley is my second choice. I like the composition. With a little sharper focus, it would have been my favorite. The car photos don't do much for me because the light is too harsh in the first one and the backgrounds are distracting in both of them. The background in the first one would be good except that red building and the turquoise box grab my eye rather than the car. Just the monotone buildings against the dark car would have been good. In the second photo, the "go to hell" posters are interesting but the plywood ruins that background for me.

Looking forward to more from you

Welcome to the forums and you are a brave soul to jump right in to critique. Shebang is right about it being a great place to learn and that critiquing as much as you offer for critique really helps you find how to make your photos more than just another picture.
You have some interesting compositions with the stairs and the buildings in your second post. Shebang is right about the backgrounds.
The consistant problem I see is that you are shooting in harsh light. Might want to hold off your photo activities until late afternoon/evening or get up at the crack of dawn.
    Keep Shooting!

I agree with the harsh light comment by Frog since it was the first thing I noticed in the majority of your pics. Regarding the car pics try new angles perhaps a bit lower, some minimal camera tilting helps sometimes adding a sense of drama. looking through car mags helps a lot in this department.

IMO something interesting is almost always good, if it is bad its not interesting...is boring. Welcome!

I was going to chime in with the harsh light thing.
I like the stairs one. I think you should go back there in less harsh light and take a few pictures from different angles.

All opinions expressed by this person are purely that, opinions which means she doesn't actually know anything about photography.

IMO ... from a composition point of view... try to apply "rule of thirds". It would add a bit of drama and interest . Shooting on center is okay if the scene calls for it. Even adding negative space would give impact.

The problem with shooting the stairs at a different time is that you would lose those shadows too. Not sure what you can do for them

....and you'll usually get better response by posting each photo separately. Five a day is the limit and don't forget to critique as many as you get critiqued -- it helps us and most of all, it helps you!

    Re: here goes nothing...

I'll mention something different to what others have said, perhaps shooting the car in a lower level , away from direct sun light, might help you get better photos, with the dark color of the car I would try to get some reflections
